About the KG9L

The TEC-9 was one of the early designs to utilize polymer frames in pistol construction. However, when converted for full-auto fire, the polymer lower receiver could be a point of failure under heavy use or with hotter ammunition. LaFrance Specialties solved this by registering the stronger metal upper receiver as the serialized component, effectively making it the firearm, and allowing the TEC-9 lower to serve as the host. This model is listed on the Form 3 paperwork as manufactured by LaFrance Specialties, model KG9L.

Condition
