Shipping & FFL Transfer Information
Federal law requires every firearm to ship to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer in the buyer’s state. Kansas Gun Shop ships to your chosen FFL within 24 hours of order verification.
How it works
- Place your order. At checkout, give us the contact info for an FFL dealer near you.
- FFL verification. Your dealer emails their FFL copy to [email protected].
- We ship. Once we have the FFL on file we ship within one business day via UPS or FedEx ground (insured, signature required).
- Pick up & transfer. Bring your photo ID to your FFL, fill out ATF Form 4473, and complete the NICS background check.

- Handguns & long guns: $25 flat shipping
- Ammunition: $20 flat (HAZMAT regulated, ground only)
- Accessories & parts: $8 flat, free over $99
Restricted states
We do not ship firearms or magazines that violate state law. California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Illinois, Washington, and Colorado have specific magazine, feature, or roster restrictions. If you order an item not legal in your state we will refund and notify you.
Returns
Unfired firearms in original packaging may be returned within 3 days of receipt. See our Refund Policy.
