Owner’s Manual

The new BPS has a mix of a classic look with modern fit and handling. It starts with a new satin finished walnut stock, a matte blued barrel with a ventilated rib, as you would expect from a Browning. Then the stock has been slightly reconfigured to offer a faster, more natural feel. The Inflex recoil pad offers excellent comfort and the new checkering surfaces offer a superior grip. The trigger guard is slightly larger, offer an advantage when hunting with gloved hands.

The floating rib allows the rib and barrel to expand at different rates and move independently of each other. The floating rib prevents the point of impact shifts caused by barrel heating. The height of the rib gives a good view of your target.

Unique to the BPS is its bottom feed and ejection port. Shells are loaded and ejected from the bottom, leaving one less port for dirt and debris to enter the action. Likewise, a left-handed shooter won’t end up ejecting empty hulls into their face. Combined with the top tang safety, this gun is truly ambidextrous.
