These photos represent the exact firearm for sale, a Japanese Arisaka Type 38 6.5x50mmSR Police Trade-In Rifle.
Based on markings from the rifle, this Type 38 was part of the Imperial Japanese Army as part of the Kokura Arsenal. It was produced somewhere between 1935 and 1945 in the 25th series. The Imperial chrysanthemum is intact on top of the receiver.
As with many used trade-in firearms, this pistol may contain scratches and/or signs of wear. This is not always the case, but should not be unexpected.
