The 18-inch carbon fiber barrel keeps the weight down – around 5 pounds total – making it easier to carry across the fields or set up for a long day at the range. Bergara uses their Performance Trigger in this rifle, and it’s a good one. It’s adjustable, and compatible with aftermarket Remington 700 triggers if you want to customize it further. The included 30 MOA Picatinny rail lets you mount a scope without struggling for elevation adjustment – important for longer shots. With the 1/2-28 threading on the muzzle, you can add a suppressor or muzzle brake if you choose, and it comes with a thread protector installed.

This rifle ships with both a 5-round and a 10-round magazine. The 5-rounder is handy for hunting where magazine capacity might be restricted, and the 10-rounder is useful for range work and competition.
